Attached are some pictures of the fish ponds that were built in the Highlands. These men worked tremendously hard to accomplish this. Please do to use to pray for these men and their families.
Thank the Lord. Through hard work, the men have fresh water flowing into the fish ponds. One step closer to getting fresh fish. This is no small task seeing they are piping water in from a stream about a mile away. Thank you to all who have prayed for and contributed money for the pipes. May God bless you.
Thank the Lord. Pipes have arrived and construction has begun from the stream to the fish ponds. These hard working men personally hand-dug the 10 fish ponds. Pray for these hardworking men. Pray for success in this vital ministry. If God so leads it upon your heart to help in any way, please contact us.
Thank the Lord. The pipes which will bring water to the fish ponds have been purchased. Thank you to all who have helped make this possible. We are now ready to purchase the fish for the ponds. We are going to buy 100 fish for each pond. We now have 10 ponds so we are looking to purchase 1000 fish. Please pray for this endeavor and let God lead you if He so desires your help.
Please pray for these fine men working in incredible harsh environments and heat. They are starting on the 5th fish pond. Thank God for His help. Keep praying for His work and if God so leads you to help us in anyway, please feel free to contact us. Any and all help is appreciated.
One of the items of interest for the SSBGMI is to help countries as well as our missions to be self sustainable. One direction that we have taken is to construct fish ponds in which we can raise fish both to consume as well as provide funding for our causes. I am very happy to report that men in one of the villages have dug (3) 20 By 70 foot fish ponds and are presently working on more. Please note, this is done by hand and spade. WOW. Please pray for these men and the projects they are working on. If God so desires to help us in anyway (glasses, prayer, tents, funds, etc.) please feel free to contact us. Photos of this project coming soon.
